Wallace Group is proud to have provided geotechnical engineering and earthwork monitoring services for The Currents multi-family housing project in Bend, Oregon. The project will soon reach the milestone of the final slab-on-grade concrete pour. Outside of the box thinking was required to achieve uniform bearing conditions across this large structure due to the variable depth of bedrock across the site and heavy concentrated loads. It was a great opportunity to work with Walker Structural Engineering and CS Construction to achieve the design goals of the team!
