On Saturday, May 16, Wallace Group staff competed in the 2026 Pole Pedal Paddle race in Bend. Team D!RT—comprised of Shane Cochran, Tom Howes, Adam Larson, Kyle Steen, Peter Herron, and Amy Wheeler—ran, biked, and paddled their way from Mt. Bachelor to Riverbend Park. Despite course changes and variable weather conditions, the team had a fantastic day representing Wallace Group and enjoying one of Central Oregon’s premier endurance events.
Wallace Group, who founded the PPP Practitioners Pool, also participated in the second annual event competing against other local engineering, architectural, and construction firms for the opportunity to direct prize money to a local nonprofit organization of their choice. Congratulations to the Skanska Sprinters, who put together an impressive performance and earned the top spot. Their winnings will be donated to Oregon Adaptive Sports, supporting its outstanding mission of providing high-quality outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
