Wallace Group is proud to have supported the Owner and the design team to tackle the unique geotechnical challenges at The Current site. Those challenges included providing a high uniform bearing capacity given the undulating bedrock surface, meeting project settlement tolerance with portions of the site requiring deep fills, and supporting design of stormwater infiltration methods given the impervious tuff bedrock. Together with an engaging design team we met obstacles head on with safety, performance, and value at the forefront of our recommendations.
