I started working as a technician in 2024 and love learning more about the geology of my hometown of Bend. I enjoy having a hand in the lab and building process from beginning to end and gaining more experience in the geotechnical field. My background is as a geologist, spending my master’s to understand the broader tectonic evolution of Idaho, specializing in garnet geochronology. I love bringing my lab background and geologic knowledge to help solve problems in the field as a technician.
My perfect day in Central Oregon would include spending quality time with my partner and family. Early breakfast at Big O Bagel, venturing out for an activity like a hike, floating the river, swimming in a lake, and then ending the day at a brewery.
